I, too, was skeptical about ordering this coffee, but the Amazon price was too good to not try it. What an excellent surprise. I normally buy whole bean, but the grind on this is perfect for use in my French Press coffee maker. Dark, smooth, no bitterness at all, and I make it strong.
We've tried all kinds of brands - exotic and common - and this is the best. Great, strong flavor that's good anytime during the day. Fantastic with dinner but we also brew for breakfast.
A small package came as a stocking stuffer. I didn't expect much of it, but it was so daringly rich with a nice lingering after taste and made me drink way too much.
It is DARK, rich, and bold. I love strong coffee but was skeptical that Jack Daniels could produce a quality coffee blend. It'll knock your socks off. I was wrong. The Tennessee Mountain Blend coffee is some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. Best of all, it doesn't leave a harsh aftertaste like so many dark roasts do. This coffee has rapidly become my favorite.
My sister is a coffee lover so I purchased two brands. Not only did this one win, she says it's one of the best she has ever had. I think I know what I'm getting her for christmas.
